The perfect place for a small to medium size wedding.

The Rossmount Inn, set between the forest and the sea will enchant anyone who appreciates a casually elegant country setting renowned for its fresh, local, seasonal and organic cuisine as well as personal service.

Our receptions are generally customized to the individual requirements of our guests.

The following introduction is a broad overview of our offerings with any details discussed on a personal basis.

We can accommodate up to 120 guests in a variety of set-ups:

Traditional sit-down meal

in our restaurant, up to 65 people at tables of six or eight

in a tent around the outdoor pool, up to 120 people at round tables of eight or one long L-shaped table

Stand-up reception (some tables available for seating)

up to 90 people combined in our bar and restaurant area

up to 120 people between our bar, restaurant and outdoor pool area (a semi tent might be required)

There is no rental charge for the use of the bar and restaurant area if it is a dinner event only, ending by 11:00 pm

If a dinner/dance is chosen, the customer is required to book the whole Inn exclusively (including the 18 rooms). There is a room rental charge of $150.00 per hour after 11:00 pm

In the event of a tent set-up around the pool all the equipment including tables, chairs and dishes are to be rented by the customer (our recommendation, Commercial Tent)

Menu ideas can be as follows:

pass around cocktail menu during pre-dinner reception

a set menu with the option to offer the guests a couple choices

a family style menu whereby all the courses and dishes are served on individual platters for approximately six people to share

a substantial cocktail menu all prepared at finger sized portions and passed around

food station/table set-up mainly recommended for a stand-up reception with casual seating plan

late night snack option generally served between 11:00 and 11:30 pm

For a traditional dinner/dance reception, there is a minimum food charge of $45.00 per person.

Beverages paid by the host are charged on a consumption basis; a cash bar and/or combination of both is available.

As our in- and outdoor premises are fully licensed, liquor is to be purchased through the Inn.

All our prices are based on current rates and are subject to a possible change. They do not include 13% HST and 15% gratuity on food and beverage

Ceremonies on our premises are possible; we will be happy to discuss them personally

We will be pleased to assist with any other items, such as flowers and/or decoration, wedding cake, etc.
